Krungthai-AXA Life recognised and celebrated the achievements of its top performing Life Insurance agents at its Annual Agency Awards 2023 ceremony. The event represented the ‘Live the Dream Symphony of Success’ theme, reflecting the ambition, dedication and achievements of KTAXA’s agency force. 

The black-tie event took place at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC), Bangkok, where over 800 guests and agents attended and many were honoured for their achievements in various categories such as, Top of the Year 2023, Hall of Fame 2023 and AXA Prime 2023.

Mr. Somchai Boonnamsiri, Chairman of Krungthai-AXA Life, Mrs. Sally O’Hara, CEO of Krungthai-AXA Life Southeast Asia & Korea, Chainarong Eursithichai, CDO and Mr. Uqkrit Sridaromont, Chief Agency and Distribution Training officer were amongst the distinguished guests who attended the ceremony and presented the awards.

Leading the honourees were 46 sales agents who received the most coveted award - ‘Top of the Year 2023. Other winners included, Top Newcomer of the Year, Top Persistency of the Year, Top Unit Linked of the Year, Top Recruiter of the Year, Top GA of the year and Top CS of all Products of the Year. Mr Krissaruj Passamavantisakun and Mr Phatsarinrada Kittitharawarano received the prestigious recognition of the Hall of Fame 2023. The AXA Prime 2023 accolade was awarded to 569 agents, while 339 received GAMA awards and 156 agents were awarded with MDRT.

HAPPY SONGKRAN 2024

Next week, it’s Songkran in Thailand, one of the most important festivals and holidays in the Thai Calendar. It’s a time when everyone gets to celebrate with friends and loved ones and embrace the Thai concept of sanuk (having fun) which is at the forefront of the Songkran celebrations. 

Although fun and celebrations are encouraged, we must continue to be mindful and respectful of others and remember that if somebody asks not to be sprayed with water, please respect that. Here are some more safety tips to consider:

Ø  Stay hydrated: Be sure to stay hydrated, especially if you’re drinking alcohol.

Ø  Be respectful: Drinking and water splashing are not permitted in indoor areas such as malls and stores. Don’t splash monks, the elderly, or babies. 

Ø  Alcohol: Don’t think too much alcohol and never drink and drive

Ø  Use public transport: With road closures, traffic is even worse than usual . Skip the traffic and stay safe with the BTS or MRT.

Ø  Leave valuables at home and put phones, cash etc. in waterproof pouches.

Ø  Avoid the busy areas with young kids

Ø  If you’re on a motorbike wear protective clothing, drive slowly and be aware of your surroundings.

And finally… have fun! Seriously. As long are considerate of others, we can all enjoy this wonderful occasion and celebrate the Thai New Year in a safe and respectful manner.

Krungthai-AXA Life sponsors Run2gether for the 7th Consecutive Year

Sunday, April 7th, 2024, Krungthai-AXA Life partnered with the Thai Health Promotion Foundation, Together Foundation, Faculty of Political Science Chulalongkorn University, and Klongdinsor to organize ‘Run2gether’, a guide assisted mini marathon, at Suphachalasai National Stadium, Pathum Wan, Bangkok. Now in its 7th year, this year’s theme, ‘Run2gether 10 years of 2Getherness’, reinforces the importance of supporting one another and the incredible goals we can achieve when we embrace inclusion and diversity.

During her opening speech, Mrs. Sally O’Hara, CEO of Southeast Asia and Korea said that it was such an honor to sponsor Run2gether and it was a privileged to have Mr. Chadchart Sittipunt, Bangkok Governor and Dr. Pongthep Wongwatcharapaiboon, M.D., Chief Executive Officer, Thai Health Promotion Foundation, join as special guests. 

The event commenced at 5.30 am and over 1,400 participants took part, including 450 people with a disability (PWD), 450 guide running buddies, who paired with the disabled participants and 500 runners and volunteers. The distances included, 2 KM, 6 KM and 10 KM, however this event is not about winning and losing, but rather about coming together and promoting equal opportunities for all and highlighting the incredible accomplishments we can achieve when we are united together.

Over the last few years, the world has experienced an incredible amount of disruption and change, meaning resilience has become an essential life skill for everyone. A huge driver for Krungthai-AXA’s continued support of Run2gether is to help share the participants’ courage, determination and resolve, with the community and its network.

This year, aligned with Krungthai-AXA’s commitment to sustainability, all running T-shirts and medals were made from recycled material. Krungthai-AXA Life Announces Positive Results of 30-second Video Social Media Campaign

Ø  TikTok's short videos were launched as a pilot phase for the first time, achieving 7M views within 3 months.

Commit To Climate Season 3: Krungthai-AXA Life launches next stage of its Climate Change Strategy for Environmental Impact

Krungthai-AXA Life Insurance, a leader of green insurer and  health and protection insurance, recently launched ‘Commit to Climate season 3’, the next phase of its climate change strategy, under the theme “360 degree of Climate Change and Biodiversity”. 

‘Commit To Climate’ was inspired by the conviction that when we act together, the results are more powerful and far-reaching. Through the following initiatives, that will run throughout the four quarters of the year, our ambition is to address critical issues for nature and communities in all regions.

Q1 - Sea Life; Seagrass can store up to 35 times more carbon than tropical forests: KTAXA will invite the public to decorate seagrass for turtles online. For every ‘Like’ and ‘Share’, KTAXA will donate 5 Baht to the Phuket Marine Biological Centre (PMBC) to plant sea grass. KTAXA Celebrates International Women’s Day with a Focus on Inclusion and Wellbeing

March 8th, 2024 -- In recognition of International Women’s Day, KTAXA organised a series of events and initiatives to celebrate women and reinforce its commitment to gender equality and cultivating a culture of inclusion.

This year, KTAXA invited Khun Tonhom Sakuntala Thianphairot, the well-known actress, MC, DJ, and Youtuber to share her journey with employees under this year’s theme “Inspire Inclusion”. Ms. Sakuntala highlighted the challenges she faced, including being a single mother, and the obstacles she overcame before becoming a successful DJ with her own Youtube channel. Tonhom also touch on the importance of gender equality and how we can all play our part in building an inclusive society.

Under KTAXA’s ‘We Care’ program, the company distributed sanitary towels to all female employees in head office and branch offices to promote women’s health and well-being, reduce stigma surrounding menstruation and create a more inclusive workplace. 

To promote female networking and gain different perspectives, KTAXA’s “Thrive Mentoring Program” also formed part of the agenda. This is the third year of the global mentoring initiative and mentees were encouraged to ‘pay it forward’ by becoming a mentor and sharing their knowledge and insights.

Krungthai-AXA Life Celebrate Valentines Day with Employees and Customers

In celebration of this year’s Valentines Day, Krungthai-AXA launched heartwarming initiatives that extended to both employees and customers. On February 11th, KTAXA organized a chocolate confectionary cooking course for 40 customers at the Chocolab, SO Bangkok Sathorn.  Participants had the opportunity to learn the art of chocolate making and creating delicious chocolate treats from professional chocolatiers.

Krungthai-AXA Life Launches #WeCare, a new wellbeing program for Employees

Aligned with its core purpose ‘to act for human progress by protecting what matters,’ Krungthai-AXA Life recently launched #WeCare, a program designed to further support its workforce at different life stages and during moments that matter. Four years ago, on this day, Krungthai-AXA Life officially launched its Tree Planting Campaign at The Golden Jubilee Museum of Agriculture Office, Bangkok and made a commitment to plant 100,000 trees by the end of 2022. Today, that target has not only been achieved but surpassed and 110, 000 trees have been planted across all regions of the country. 

Forests are not only a source of natural beauty but also serve as essential ecosystems, providing habitat for countless species, regulating the climate, and purifying the air we breathe. กรุงไทย-แอกซ่า ประกันชีวิต เปิดตัวผลิตภัณฑ์ประกันชีวิตตลอดชีพ “เวลท์เรดดี้ 99/5”

Krungthai-AXA Life Launches  ‘KTAXA KYC Football Youth Academy’ Season 4

กรุงไทย-แอกซ่า ไลฟ์ เปิดตัว ‘KTAXA KYC Football Youth Academy’ ซีซั่น 4

Krungthai-AXA Life Insurance (KTAXA) recently launched the fourth season of its award-winning ‘Know You Can’ Football Youth (U15) Academy’. The program complements the AXA Group’s official partnership with Liverpool Football Club and aims to promote health and fitness, raise the level of Thai youth football to an international standard and increase brand awareness.

Due to outstanding success of the previous three seasons, KTAXA will again host the fourth season in four provinces, including Chiang Mai, Khon Khaen, Krabi and Bangkok. This year, the academy hopes to attract over 2,100 youths for the try outs, which will comprise 1600 children from the four Thai provinces and 500 youths selected from customers’ children - new customers who purchase a policy between November 2023 – February 2024 will also be eligible to join the program. Customers will be requested to send a short football skills clip to the KTAXA CR Team which will be forwarded to the official coaching team for their review.

Aligned with its core purpose, ‘to act for human progress by protecting what matters,’ fifty percent of all children selected for the try outs will be from underprivileged areas, to support and encourage children from all backgrounds to develop their skills.

The first try out will be held during November in Chiang Mai, where 400 football enthusiasts selected will attend.  The remaining three try outs will take place before May 2024. From the 2,100 participants, a total of 10 talented youths (8 from the provinces and 2 children from KTAXA customers) will be selected to attend an LFC one-week training course at the LFC International Academy, Liverpool, United Kingdom during July 2024. This exclusive experience is only available due to AXA’s partnership with LFC and its long-standing commitment to the English Premier League legends.

กรุงไทย-แอกซ่า ประกันชีวิต เปิดตัว โครงการ Know You Can Football Youth (U15) Academy’ ซีซั่นที่ 4 โครงการดังกล่าวส่งเสริมความร่วมมืออย่างเป็นทางการของกลุ่มแอกซ่ากับสโมสรฟุตบอลลิเวอร์พูล และมีเป้าหมายเพื่อส่งเสริมสุขภาพและการออกกำลังกาย ยกระดับฟุตบอลเยาวชนไทยสู่มาตรฐานสากล และเพิ่มการรับรู้ถึงแบรนด์

จากความสำเร็จที่โดดเด่นในสามฤดูกาลที่ผ่านมา บริษัทฯ ได้จัดงาน ในซีซั่น 4 อีกครั้งในสี่จังหวัด ได้แก่ เชียงใหม่ ขอนแก่น กระบี่ และกรุงเทพฯ ในปีนี้สถาบันหวังที่จะดึงดูดเยาวชนเข้าร่วมทดลองเรียนกว่า 2,100 คน ซึ่งจะประกอบด้วยเด็ก 1,600 คนจาก 4 จังหวัดของไทย และเยาวชน 500 คนที่ได้รับการคัดเลือกจากลูกของลูกค้า โดยลูกค้าใหม่ที่ซื้อกรมธรรม์ระหว่างเดือนพฤศจิกายน 2566 – กุมภาพันธ์ 2567 จะได้รับ มีสิทธิ์เข้าร่วมโปรแกรม ลูกค้าจะถูกขอให้ส่งคลิปทักษะฟุตบอลสั้น ๆ ให้กับทีมงานซึ่งจะถูกส่งต่อไปยังทีมผู้ฝึกสอนอย่างเป็นทางการเพื่อตรวจสอบ เพื่อให้สอดคล้องกับวัตถุประสงค์หลัก "เพื่อมุ่งมั่น เคียงข้างทุกความเชื่อมั่น ดูแลกันตลอดไป" โดยจำนวนห้าสิบเปอร์เซ็นต์ของเด็กทั้งหมดที่ได้รับเลือกให้เข้าร่วมการทดลองจะมาจากพื้นที่ด้อยโอกาส เพื่อสนับสนุนและส่งเสริมให้เด็กจากทุกภูมิหลังพัฒนาทักษะของพวกเขา

Krungthai-AXA Life Launches New Global Brand Campaign “Being a Woman Shouldn’t be a Risk”

กรุงไทย-แอกซ่า ประกันชีวิต ส่งแคมเปญโฆษณาใหญ่ระดับโลก “Being a woman shouldn’t be a risk” หรือ “เป็นผู้หญิงไม่ควรต้องเสี่ยง”

Reaffirming its commitment to equal protection, Krungthai-AXA Life Insurance has unveiled a global brand campaign to raise awareness about disproportionate risks faced by women across health, business, education and sports. The campaign has been launched with simple, clear, and compelling messaging: “Being a Woman Shouldn’t be a Risk”.

The advertising campaign, which was launched August 16th, showcases familiar situations experienced by women from child to adulthood, encountering different risks and obstacles when in fact, ‘Being a woman shouldn't be a risk’. The film takes an optimistic and empowering approach, emphasizing the belief in progress and the aspiration for a better future. 

Speaking about the campaign, Ms. Bubphawadee Owararinth, CPBCO Krungthai-AXA Life said “women’s safety and protection have always been very close to our hearts. We are committed to reinforcing gender equality and fighting exclusion so that women are less at risk in our society.  Aligned with our purpose ‘to act for human progress by protecting what matters’, this campaign hopes to raise awareness of the disparities that still exist today for women, encourage people to think differently and push for change.”
