On April 27th 2023 – Krungthai AXA Life Insurance (KTAXA), in partnership with Laguna Phuket Foundation and Phuket Marine Biological Center (PMBC), launched ‘Save Our Sea’ project 2023 at Angsana laguna, Phuket. The activity entailed improving the turtle nursery ponds, supporting the safe release of baby sea turtles to the ocean, collecting waste at the beach in Phuket and releasing fish homes to the ocean.

Save our Sea is part of KTAXA’s Climate Change & Biodiversity campaign and is centred around the ‘4 Rs’ – Remove (Beach Clean-up), Rescue (Sea Turtles and Endangered Species), Restore (Mangrove &Coral) and Resource (Education). Addressing biodiversity-related risks and opportunities is a natural extension of KTAXA’s climate efforts and a core component of its sustainability strategy.
